  • What are some things that I should keep in handy for DIY projects?

Here is a small list of tools that I never go without:

    1. Flashlight
    2. Drill
    3. Bucket
    4. Adjustable Wrenches
    5. Hammer
  • What can I do about my stained tub?

Use an equal amount of baking soda, cream of tartar and lemon juice to make a paste. Rub this mixture into the stain with your fingers or a soft cloth. Allow the mixture to sit for half an hour, then rinse with warm water.

  • Help! My linoleum is scuffed!

Rub the spot with an eraser and white toothpaste. You can also try spraying WD-40 on a towel and rubbing lightly. Make sure you degrease the area afterwards with soap and water.

  • My gutters havent been cleaned in awhile, do you have any advice?

Sure, you’re going to need a couple of things, though.

    • Extension ladder
    • Work Gloves
    • Hand Towel
    • Hose With Sprayer
    • Rake
    • Plastic Garbage Bag
    • Rubber-soled Shoes
    • Patience

Place the ladder on one end of the roof and climb! While wearing your gloves and using the towel, scoop all of the gunk from the gutter and drop it on the ground. After you’ve gotten enough of the leaves and dirt out of the gutter use the sprayer to flush the gutter out. Once you’re all done, put all of the debris in the trash bag!
